Secure URL

To use the Secure Server Option, you don’t need to make any changes to your web pages, sgi-scripts or web store. All you have to do is use the secure URL. The Secure URL may be used to access any or all of your web pages. The secure URL might be:

https://your-domain.securewebsites.com/

In this particular case, please note the “s” between “http” and “://”. This means the browser will use Secure Server Mode (SSL).

Here is an example: Let’s presume there is an order form at your site. The URL might be like this:

http://www.your-domain.com/order/index.html

Using the Secure Server Option, you can securely access that very same order page with:

https://your-domain.securewebsites.com/order/index.html

This is the very same page at your site, it is just accessed securely.
